How Our GPS Vehicle Tracking System Works

Once you make the decision to utilize our GPS vehicle tracking system, we begin by installing our automatic vehicle location (AVL) hardware covertly in your vehicle, truck, trailer or heavy equipment. The hidden GPS antenna through the US Department of Defense's satellites determines the exact longitude, latitude, speed, and direction of the vehicle. The fleet tracking unit will then use its internal GPRS based modem to send its location data via the Internet to the vehicle tracking system network operation center (NOC), where that data is stored and is simultaneously displayed on your computer screen using our software applications.

In addition to providing exact vehicle location and speed, our fleet tracking hardware also reports engine idle status and has the capability of monitoring optional accessories such as cabin lock, temperature monitoring, mobile data monitoring and power door unlock.

CRIME PREVENTION TIPS

•  Don't leave anything with your personal details in your car. Carry your registration, drivers' license and other person-detailed cards in your wallet.

•  Don't leave anything of value, or anything that seems valuable, in plain view in your car. Even an empty backpack will be inviting to a thief. They don't know that it's empty.

•  Keep you car keys on a separate key ring from your house keys.

•  Park only in well-lit, busy areas. Avoid isolated areas, as theft thrives in location of least interception.

•  Do not put items of value in your trunk while shopping. Your trunk is easy to break into and thieves watch for people placing items in their trunks. If you have to leave something in your car, pull over and place it in your trunk before you get to where you are going.

•  Have motion sensor flood lights installed on the front of your house. This will not only help protect vehicles parked in front of your house but will also help protect your home and your family.
